The German Club is Virginia Tech's oldest brotherhood, founded in 1892. Despite our name, you don't need to speak German to join! We are a brotherhood focused on community service, social events, and lifelong friendships.
To join the German Club, you must be enrolled at Virginia Tech, maintain good academic standing, and complete our new member education program. We welcome students from all backgrounds and majors.
Active members are expected to attend weekly meetings and participate in a reasonable number of events each semester. We understand that academics come first and work with members to balance their commitments.
Dues vary by semester and cover operations, events, and other initiatives. We offer payment plans and work with members to ensure finances are never a barrier to joining.
